Alongside the integration, Airtel also added Paytm Wallet and UPI (Unified Payments Interface) as a payment option for recharging through the app. All the three features are being rolled out with the latest version 4.2.8.1 through Google Play Store. Users with Android 4.2 and above will be able to use the newly introduced features. On top of these, Airtel is offering 100% cashback on recharge values of Rs 399 and Rs 448, but the cashback is divided into Rs 50 vouchers and will appear on the My Coupons section.

However, do make a note that there are some terms and conditions involved in this 100% cashback offer. As per the information we have, the cashback offer is applicable only on the first-time recharge of Rs 399 or Rs 448 through the My Airtel app. Post which the coupons worth Rs 50 each will be credited to your account. And these coupons can be only be redeemed only for the number on which the recharge of Rs 399 or Rs 448 was done. If you're looking to use the Rs 50 coupons on other Airtel prepaid numbers, they won't apply. However, we're not sure about the validity of these coupons though; it could be of 18 months.

And for users who'll be making a recharge through Paytm Wallet, there's a 10% cashback offer with a maximum cashback of Rs 30. That said, there are no such offers for paying through UPI though.

Furthermore, do make a note that the first recharge should be of either Rs 399 or Rs 448 plans. And the offer is valid only for Airtel prepaid customers.

All these features are present in the latest version of My Airtel app. Head over to the Google Play Store and download the latest version to enjoy the new features. So Airtel is now offering cashback in-line with Idea Cellular and Reliance Jio. Idea Cellular is also offering a similar type of Idea Magic cashback with benefits worth Rs 3,300 for Idea prepaid customers.
