MTS Opens 10 New Stores in Maharastra, Rebrands as MITRA Stores

India’s pure-play CDMA mobile and data service provider Sistema Shyam Teleservices, which operates under MTS India brand, has extended its retail network in Maharastra, as it opens 10 more stores in Airoli (Dighe), Vashi, Kurla, Govandi, Byculla, Mahim, Wadala, Mumbra, Bhandup and Santacruz, to provide one-stop solutions to its subscribers.

MTS rebrands its stores as MITRA, which means friend. Also MITRA stands for M = Mobile services, I = Internet support, T = Telecom solutions, R = Recharges/payments, A = Accesories. This initiative is a significant part of Company’s strategy to engage and connect its customers across India.At present MTS has more than 1,500 MITRA stores across India.
