MTS Launches Women MPowered; A Range Of Initiatives For Its Women Customers

CDMA Mobile service provider MTS India today announced the launch of an innovative MTS Women MPowered Plan. This initiative has been specially designed to provide MTS women customers a sense of safety. Women customers opting for this special initiative will get benefits like special calling and SMS rates, calling at negative balance, safety tips and a lot more.

Women customers buying a new MTS prepaid connection will also get a FREE pepper spray. In addition to the benefits like special calling and SMS rates, calling at negative balance and safety tips – MTS has also set up a Vigilance Team that would provide FREE self defense classes to MTS Women customers opting for this plan.

To enroll for these classes and also get knowledge on women rights and safety tips, women customers can register by dialing 678 from their MTS mobile phones.  MTS "Women MPowered  Initiative" is being launched in Delhi and NCR circle, to be subsequently rolled out in other circles.

Highlights of MTS Women MPowered Plan :

  • Women Customers can avail the MTS Women MPowered Plan with First Recharge (FRC) of Rs.102 to get benefits like special calling and SMS rates, calling at negative balance and safety tips.
  • Existing Women Customers can avail the benefits of MTS women MPowered Plan by recharging with a special tariff voucher of just Rs 76.
  • Women buying a new MTS prepaid connection to get FREE Pepper Spray.
  • MTS has put in place a special Vigilance Team to provide FREE self defense classes to its women customers.
  • Company has also set up a special service to make its women customers aware about safety tips and their rights.
