MTS Launches EVDO Data Plans for Mobile CustomersContinuing the commitment to data segment, MTS India – the voice and data service provider on CDMA technology brings most exciting data plans for its mobile subscribers.

So wait is over for MTS customers, who were waiting for plans for using internet on mobile. It should be noted that MTS has launched many data enabled CDMA handsets - most of them are supported with EVDO Rev A (3.1 Mbps downlink/1.8 Mbps uplink).

Many users move to GSM operators because of GPRS offerings as there is no dedicated data plan from CDMA operators for accessing internet on mobile. The new data plans from MTS are currently available in Kolkata, West Bengal and some selected circles.

The best parts of these plans are you will have EVDO access, not slow 1x access at best price, and can tether with PC via USB or Bluetooth.
