India’s only pure play CDMA voice and data services provider Sistema Shyam Teleservices which operates under MTS brand has added new 37 locations in Tamilnadu under their EVDO/HSD map.

Newly added HSD towns include Neyveli, Sathyamangalam, Tindivanam, Viluppuram, Rasipuram, Pattukkottai, Tenkasi, Udumalaipettai, Oddanchatram, Periyakulam, Sivaganga, Kallakkurichi, Virudhachalam, Gobichettipalayam, Sankarankoil, Mayiladuthurai, Surandai, Arakonam, Omalur, Pallipalayam, Panruti, Andipatti Jakkampatti, Pavoor chatram, Avaniapuram, Batlagundu, Chinnalapatti, Keelakarai, Othakadai, Sokalampatti, Thirupuvanam, Thirupathur, Tiruvethipuram, Papanasam, Pattamadai, Perur-Chettipalayam, Nallur and Thirunageswaram.

With this expansion MTS now has more than 140 towns across Tamilnadu with MBlaze high speed services which can offer upto 3.1 Mbps downlink and upto 1.8Mbps uplink.

Recently MTS also expanded its HSD coverage in Rajasthan circle also. It seems MTS is moving their existing EVDO gears from those circles they left and pushing for maximum mobile broadband coverage in 9 circles they are present now.

hi,
i have recently purchased MTS3GPlus wifi based data card modem,
i stay in east delhi, its good to know that MTS is expanding its foot prints in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and claiming full coverage in Delhi NCR. but i am not getting required speed when test with speedtest.net. its really a handycapped situation, that, after purchasing, the outlet is telling, it may be due to coverage problem.
