Sistema Shyam TeleService a joint venture company between Sistema of Russia and Shyam Groups of India will soon launch its operation under the brand name MTS in TamilNadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.
MTS (Mobile TeleSystems) is one of the largest operator in Russia in January 2009 Shyam Telelink announced a strategic tip up with MTS under the agreement Shyam Telelink will be using MTS brand in advertsing and marketing purposes in India.Sistema Shyam TeleService now has a spectrum to provide mobile telephone services in all 22 circles across the country.
It has already launched its CDMA mobile services in Rajasthan circle under the brand name Rainbow during the initial launch of it service in Rajasthan Shyam Teleink became the first operator to acquire the fastest 100,000 customers.
