Motorola seems to have big plans for the next year. In 2018, the Lenovo sub-brand faced a lot of challenges to stand out among the competitors and it looks like the company has realised that is working to make 2019 a better one. Motorola has been in the news for a long time now and it’s all because of the leaks and rumours about the upcoming Moto G7 series that the company is currently working on. Addition to the G7 phones, Motorola is reportedly also working on the successor to the Motorola P30 – the P40. This news comes exclusively from OnLeaks in partnership with 91mobiles. The Motorola P40 has been leaked in renders showing off the complete front and back panel design of the phone. The key highlight of this Moto phone could be the punch hole display. As of now, there are no reports when will the P40 go official and also whether the phone will come to India or not considering the predecessor of it – P30 – never hit the global markets.

A Closer Look at Motorola P40
The leaked renders of the Motorola P40 show that this will be the first Motorola phone to come with a punch hole display or in display front-facing camera like the recently launched Honor View 20, Huawei Nova 4 and Samsung Galaxy A8s. Considering more and more smartphone makers are planning to bring the punch hole display, chances of the technology ruling 2019 are high. Well, although the Motorola P40 has been showing with an in-display selfie camera in the renders there’s something different. It’s the positioning of the hole. Unlike other phones, the punch hole on the Motorola P40 is tipped to sit on the left corner of the phone.
