A month ago, a huge Motorola leak gave us look at Moto’s next G series smartphones, and revealed the devices would feature 18:9 displays. And today, a new press render of the Moto G6 Plus has surfaced online along with key specifications of the G6 Plus and the standard Moto G6. According to the new report, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, while the standard Moto G6 will come with Snapdragon 450 SoC. And as per an earlier leak, the Moto G6 Play will be powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC.

A new series of press renders lend more credence to the report. Images leaked by a leakster going by name Andri Yatim (@HeyAndri) show off the standard Moto G6 phone. The render shows a silver colour variant of Moto G6 with glass build, alongside the elongated 18:9 display and a redesigned fingerprint scanner embedded in physical home screen button.

The rear panel is once again made of glass and houses the dual camera combo in what appears to be a protruding circle. The two sensors are aligned horizontally, and the LED flash is placed below the sensors. A Motorola logo is beneath the cameras while a secondary mic lies at the bottom of the panel.

Additional details reveal potential Moto G6 specs and pricing. In terms of internal power, the Moto G6 is listed as being powered by Snapdragon 450. The phone will have NFC, 3000mAh battery and will be available in Q2 2018 for Rs 15,000.

The larger G6 Plus, on the other hand, is said to be equipped with a Snapdragon 630 and 3250mAh battery. Yatim claims the G6 Plus will ship with the same battery as the Nexus 6. He adds the device will be listed as the LNV-G6P. The price of Moto G6 Plus is put at Rs 17,000.

Lastly, there’s Moto G6 Play which will come with a slower processor, the Snapdragon 430 but a beefy 4,000mAh battery. Despite its larger battery, the price is said to be lowest at Rs. 12,000.

As for the displays, both Moto G6 and G6 Plus will sport FHD+ 1080p displays while the G6 Play will ship with a 720p HD display. We will get 5.7-inch display size for G6 and G6 Play and 5.93-inch screen size for the Plus model.

The Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play should launch with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The Mobile World Congress is right around the corner, and it’s likely the Moto G series range will officially launch then. Until then, there’s no definite information regarding the devices.
