It seems like Motorola is gearing up for the MWC 2018 event next month as a numerous Motorola smartphones are receiving necessary certifications. And now, a 360-degree video of the upcoming Motorola Moto G6 Play is leaked online, which revealed the design of the smartphone. Also, the same leak revealed complete specifications of the G6 Play. As per the report, Motorola is finally jumping on the bezel-less bandwagon.
Motorola is one of the few major smartphone brands yet to launch an 18:9 display smartphone. But that's going to change very soon as the entire Moto G6 family is said to sport bezel-less design with 18:9 displays on the front. At the moment, the Moto G6 family is rumoured to include standard Moto G6, premium Moto G6 Plus, and the smaller Moto G6 Play variant.
We don't have many details about the Moto G6 and G6 Plus smartphones, but the complete specifications and 3D renders of the Moto G6 Play now surfaced online, thanks to Compareraja and reliable leaker OnLeaks.
As per the renders, the design of the Moto G6 Play is in-line with the Moto G5 lineup of devices. The G6 Play also comes with on-screen navigation keys and the fingerprint scanner is present at the back of the phone integrated inside the Moto logo. The rear camera is present in a Saturn ring alongside the LED flash. At the front of the phone, we have an LED flash too which is a good thing to see.
Specifications wise, the Moto G6 Play is rumoured to have dimensions of 155.4×72.2×8.94mm, and the overall thickness of the device becomes 9.35mm with the camera bump.
The Moto G6 Play will have a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Internally, the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The usage of more than two-year-old processor will surely raise some eyebrows, but again, these are just rumoured specifications, and there's official confirmation from Motorola or Lenovo yet. Hopefully, Motorola uses the octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC in the Moto G6 Play.
A 12MP camera may adorn the back, followed by an 8MP selfie camera with an LED flash. Lastly, the phone is said to have a 4000mAh battery inside, and it will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The entire Moto G6 family is rumoured to launch at the MWC 2018 event next month.
