Motorola has recently announced the Moto G5s Plus in India, which is the company’s first smartphone to feature a dual-camera setup. The Moto G5s and the Moto G5s Plus were earlier hinted to be launched sometime during the festive season, and now a new leak suggests that the phones will go official in India on August 22.

A new report from 91mobiles says that the device will be unveiled in a few days in India, but the prices were not revealed. The Moto G5s and the Moto G5s Plus are the upgraded variants of the Moto G5 and G5 Plus which were unveiled a few months ago in India. Both the smartphones come with improved, cameras, bigger displays, and an all-metal unibody design.
The Moto G5s Plus sports a 5.5-inch display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is internally powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The SoC is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on the Android Nougat out of the box and is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery inside. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a combination of dual 13MP sensors on the rear along with an 8MP secondary camera on the front for shooting selfies and for video calls.

On the other hand, the Moto G5s sports a smaller 5.2-inch display with Full-HD resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, under the hood. The RAM and storage are the same as its bigger sibling, the Moto G5s Plus. The G5s comes with a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture while a 5MP selfie-camera sits to the front. The Moto G5s again has a similar 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat like the G5s Plus.
