Motorola Launches Android-Based Smartphone ‘CHARM’ for Rs.13990

Motorola today announced the launch of a stylishly square and Android 2.1 based 3G smartphone Motorola CHARM for Rs. 13990 in Indian market.

Motorola also ties up with leading GSM service provider Aircel to offer Free Data usage upto 3GB per month and 150 Aircel to Aircel local minutes up to 3 months for prepaid subscribers. To activate the offer one can SMS ‘SMARTPI’ to 54343 from Aircel with Motorola Charm.The Postpaid subscriber also get Free Data Usage upto 1 GB for 6 months.

Motorola CHARM the stylish smartphone pack a punch with unique form-factors. It runs on Android 2.1 and features an innovative BACKTRACK touch panel on the reverse of the phone allows users to smoothly navigate, scroll and make selections without obstructing the display screen with their fingers.

The device fit neatly in your palm or pocket, making it fun and easy to stay connected while on-the-go. They pack seriously big features – like a 2.8 inch full touch display and physical QWERTY keypad – in a compact, pocket-perfect design, 3 Mega Pixel camera with digital zoom, 32 GB expandable memory (2GB card include).

CHARM merge Motorola’s design heritage with Android capabilities to deliver a new take on the typical smartphone form factor.Fully equipped to enhance busy lifestyles, the new devices from Motorola will delight those who expect their social experiences to be effortless and intuitive. it is just expanding dude.. wait and see … now the major cities at kerala is covered they are basing there signal point according to the income they get over there . Here the same at Tamilnadu .

Fantastic features really would be great phone the only problem is what is that back track touch does it means the the wntite navigation will be done from the back side of the phone if yhe factor is like this then it will not be accepted by Indian marke. If it would have been a compleye touch screen with and quarty and the same form factor. It will rule the market motorola are u listening….

there is docomo and airtel who provide much more good services at India . why did they chose aircel ? if anyone browses internet via mobile . it says internal server error and one of the worst gprs services at India . They are stating they are providing gprs at 98 in the other hand gprs provided by videocon at 96 is really affordable and the speeds are more than 100kbps.
