Motorola has unveiled its first wave of 2018 smartphones under the Moto G6 and Moto E5 series last week. But the company is yet to reveal a flagship device with Snapdragon 845 SoC and even there are no official words on the Moto Z3 Play. However, leaks have already started pouring about the Moto Z3 Play, hinting at an imminent launch. Today, an official render of the upcoming Moto Z3 Play has surfaced online, suggesting the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual rear cameras. However, the massive news with the Moto Z3 Play is it might support the older Moto Mods, even though it sports a larger screen with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Android Headlines managed to grab this render which is nearly the final one that will be used to market the smartphone. In the past too, we had several renders of the Moto Z3 Play, but all of them are unofficial ones. So, it’s good to see an official render coming out ahead of the launch.
As you can see from the render, the Moto Z3 Play will arrive with a glass back, same as the Moto G6 series. The back of the phone houses the dual cameras, which are embedded in a Saturn ring along with the dual-tone LED flash. At the bottom rear, we have the magnetic pins, which are in-line with the current generation Moto Z and Moto Z2 devices pins, so there’s a huge possibility that the Moto Z3 devices will support the earlier Moto Mods.
