Latest Render of Motorola Moto X4 Shows a Different Design from the Previous Leaked Design Images

Follow Us

Yesterday, we reported the complete specifications of the Motorola's upcoming mid-range smartphone Moto X4. And today, the device is leaked in its full glory, and it looks gorgeous. The device is sandwiched with a full 3D glass at the front and back. The phone has a nearly bezel-less design, as per the render leaked online.

At the back of the phone is the dual camera setup, followed by Moto branding. The dual cameras are encased in a Saturn ring, which slightly protrudes out. This image is leaked by the popular Evan Blass. And in this picture, the LED flash is present below the camera module.

However, in the earlier leaked presentation slide of Moto X4, the LED flash is placed above the camera module. Now that's interesting, and even it will rise to serious questions- Is Motorola working on two variants of the Moto X4? Or Is this another Moto device- possibly Moto G5s+?

Andri Yatim, another reliable Motorola leaker, suggests that Motorola may be working on two variants for the Moto X4 and at the same time, he suggests that the image leaked by Evleaks could also belong to the Moto G5s+, another affordable Motorola phone due to release in coming weeks.

As per yesterday's leaked Moto X4 specifications, it will have a 5.5-inch Full HD 3D glass display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB of RAM. The device will arrive with 64GB of internal storage on board, which can also be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

There will be two cameras at the back of 12MP and 8MP; The implementation of the camera setup is still unknown. And the device will be backed by a 3000mAh battery. Observe these specifications closely; there are almost identical to the Moto G5s+ ones making the rounds on the internet.

Earlier leaked specs of the Moto X4 suggest a powerful mid-range smartphone- 5.2-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 660 chipset, 4GB RAM+64GB storage, twin 12MP cameras at the back, 16MP front-facing camera, and a beefy 3800mAh battery.

At the moment everything is on the cards- there might be two variants of the Moto X4, or the newly leaked image belongs to the Moto G5s+. Motorola is planning to release the device in the Q4 2017. We will get more information about both the device in coming days.
