Motorola Brings Back the Moto X Series to India; Launches Moto X4 With Snapdragon 630 SoC at Rs. 20,999

Motorola has finally brought its much anticipated mid-range smartphone, the Moto X4 to the Indian market. The Lenovo-subsidiary has announced the Moto X4 at an event in New Delhi. It is also the first smartphone to launch with Snapdragon 630 SoC in India.

To recall, the Moto X4 was launched back at the IFA 2017 event. The X4 is one of the beautiful looking smartphones out there on the market. This device comes with a glass back and a metal frame, and it comes in two colour options- Black and Sterling Blue. The X4 is also an IP68 rated smartphone. Motorola used Corning Gorilla Glass on both front and back of the phone.

Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, the Moto X4 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC. The chipset is paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.

With the Moto X4, the company is also foraying into the selfie market as the smartphone comes with a 16MP selfie camera with an LED flash support. The Moto X4 offers two cameras at the back. A primary sensor of 13MP and a secondary 8MP wide-angle sensor. The phone also offers a Portrait mode to capture bokeh effect in the images.

The smartphone also comes with some new tricks such as landmark recognition, object recognition, and the camera app has the ability to scan barcodes.

This smartphone comes laden with Android Nougat out of the box, but it will receive Android Oreo update very soon. There's a new wireless sound system feature with which you can connect up to four Bluetooth devices at the same time. There are some more software tricks such as Quick Screenshot, with which you can take a screenshot by sliding three fingers on the screen. It also comes with Moto Key feature with which you can unlock your Windows machine with the Moto X4.

This entire package is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery, and it even comes with a Moto Turbo Charge support.

The Moto X4 comes in two variants- 3GB and 32GB, 4GB and 64GB. The former costs Rs. 20,999, while the latter will set you back by Rs. 22,999. The device will be up for sale exclusively on Flipkart and Moto Hubs starting today.
