Moto G7 Likely to Arrive With Snapdragon 660 SoC

The Lenovo-owned brand Motorola made some big launches this year and also teased some of the most awaited smartphones. The giant also launched one of the most anticipated Android One devices this year, the Motorola One Power which saw substantial attention from the Indian buyers. However, every Motorola fan has been waiting for some of the much more awaited releases from the OEM. The brand is yet to advance its G series and Z series line-up with the launch of Moto G7, the Moro G7 Plus and the Moto Z4. Needless to say, a lot of eyes on the internet are on the brand, and people are all ears to hear about these upcoming phones. We have got a new update about these three devices which details some of the inside specifications of these phones.

As per this new leak, we’ve come to know that the upcoming Moto Z4 is going to sport Qualcomm’s next best chipset, the Snapdragon 8150 SoC. To recall, the Moto Z4 which will further the line-up of Moto Z3 had debuted with a slightly outdated Snapdragon 835 chipset earlier this year.

Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus SoCs Tipped

The tip comes from a popular tipster Andri Yatim who has pointed out that the next release by Motorola, which is the Moto G7 will debut with a Snapdragon 660 SoC and it will come paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The slightly better powered, Moto G7 Plus has also been hinted to get a Snapdragon 700 series processor, which is Qualcomm’s line-up for performance-based mid-range chipsets. The speculations, however, point towards the featuring of the Snapdragon 710 SoC on this phone. This chipset is likely to be paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

Moto Z4 Might Have 5G Support

Also, the flagship from Motorola, the Moto Z4 which is one of the highly anticipated devices from the Lenovo owned brand has also been tipped to come with the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 SoC. This phone being a premium one will likely debut with a 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Apart from the information about the chipsets and the RAM variants of these devices, there has been no additional info from the tipster. Also, it is still not known whether or not these devices will come with a microSD card to allow storage expansion.

Moto G7, G7 Plus: What We Know So Far

Previously, we had also spotted the Moto G7, and the Moto G7 Plus leaked renders which revealed the presence of a waterdrop styled notch on the top along with a horizontally oriented dual rear camera setup. Although we get to see a tiny notch on the top edge of the phone, the lower edge which houses the Motorola logo comes with a significant chin, thus reducing the screen to body ratio.
