
Motorola, the Lenovo owned brand had announced in the month of April during its launch event in Brazil that it would further its line-up of Moto E and Moto G series of Smartphones. Since that announcement, Indian stores have seen the arrival of Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play, however, the latest debut in the Moto E5 series is still awaiting arrival in the country. It is known that Moto E5 Play is a handset which has been restricted to the USA market, therefore, it is only possible that the Moto E5 and the Moto E5 Plus would be launched in India. Recently, pointing towards a new launch Motorola official Twitter handle has been dropping hints by posting battery related videos on the platform. And today, the brand has confirmed the launch of Moto E5 Plus in India and of course, it’s teasing the big battery.

The video teasers which were posted earlier this week by the company point towards a smartphone carrying a massive battery which would put an end to all battery-related problems of the users. While the Moto E5 packs a 4000mAh battery the higher variant Moto E5 Plus packs an even more impressive 5000mAh battery. The MSRP of the Moto E5 during launch was EUR 149 (approx. Rs 11,900), and the Moto E5 Plus debuted with a price tag of EUR 169 (approx. Rs 13,500). However, Indian pricing for the phones hasn’t been reported by any source yet, let alone officially by the company. Also, Motorola has promised the latest Android update for the Moto G6 series. However, there has been no news regarding a similar update on the Moto E series.
