Microsoft will now make its products in India through the e-commerce giant Snapdeal. The company has just opened its branded online store on the website and it will be offering its complete range of products such as smartphones, PCs, softwares and tablets.
Snapdeal Senior Vice President, Electronics and Home Tony Navin, said, "We are pleased to be partnering with Microsoft in opening their online store on Snapdeal. This unique, self-contained store built by Snapdeal will allow users accessibility of Microsoft’s unified portfolio of phones, tablets, PCs and software. The store has been customized to offer an integrated Windows customer experience, the statement added. The store enables Microsoft to manage product selection, promotions and launches as per need and basis the analytics shared by Snapdeal,” he said.
One can browse through Microsoft’s store on Snapdeal, at microsoft.snapdeal.com. The online store strives to provide integrated Windows customer experience to the users.
To explain the idea behind coming up with an online store, Microsoft India Group OEM Director Sharlin Thayil said,”Increasingly consumers are going online to shop for a number of things, including mobiles, devices, software and accessories. We therefore see tremendous opportunity in delivering Microsoft products and services through our online store to these customers. Our latest store on Snapdeal will help us reach more such customers and offer excellent choice, value and service that customers expect from Microsoft stores,” he said.
