Microsoft launched its enterprise-focused smartphone, the Lumia 650. The device will be up for sale in select markets in Europe for a price of $199 (approximately Rs. 13,556). There is also going to be a dual-SIM variant of the Lumia 650. Microsoft its availability schedule for other regions outside Europe, but we hope that the device will be launched in India as well.

Now, let’s move on to the specifications. The Microsoft Lumia 650 comes with a 5-inch HD AMOLED ClearBlack display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM. There is 16GB internal storage onboard, which can be further expanded up to whopping 200GB via microSD card. In the imaging department, the device sports an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and 720p video recording, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, which is also equipped with f/2.2 aperture, and 720p video recording capabilities. On the software front, the device runs Windows 10.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and GPS / aGPS. Backing the Microsoft Lumia 650, is a 2,000mAh removable battery. The device measures 142x 70.9 x 6.9 mm and weighs 122 grams. It will be available in Matte Black and Matte White color options.
Describing the Lumia 650 as a device targeted at the business segment, Microsoft said in a statement that,“it is the best of Microsoft productivity and security, all wrapped in a beautiful slim package.” Interestingly, the smartphone comes preloaded with Microsoft’s enterprise applications such as Office 365, along with third-party apps like Uber.
