Android users will soon get assisted by Microsoft’s digital assistant, Cortana. Users will be enabled to download the beta version of Cortana. Microsoft has already revealed the arrival of Cortana on Android, but today the company announced that the beta version will be available for download in July.
In the previous revelations, Microsoft stated that Cortana’s Android version will not have the complete range of features offered by the digital assistant on Windows 10 and Windows Phone 8.1. It will rather provide its service as a ‘companion’ to Android users, and will sync the data between phone and Windows 10 PC.
Microsoft says,”On your Android phone you can ask Cortana to remind you to walk the dog at 8pm in the evening, and then when you're watching a movie your Xbox will interrupt playback to let you know it's time to take the dog out."
The company also said that it will be making Cortana available on Xbox One as well, sometime later this fall.
