Micromax is really trying hard to compete with Xiaomi in the Indian market by launching smartphones under both its sub-brand Yu Televentures and under its brand. Recently, the company launched the Yu Yureka 2 smartphone with Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM at Rs. 11,999. And now, the company has come up with a selfie-centric smartphone, the Micromax Selfie 3 with decent specifications on board.

The Micromax Selfie 3 offers a 5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels. At the heart of the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, which is clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The addition of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage would have a great from Micromax. Nevertheless, the storage can be expanded with a microSD card.
The highlight of this smartphone is the 16MP front-facing camera, which comes with an LED flash and auto scene mode, portrait mode, night mode, HDR mode, and beautify mode. The company has added a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash support.
The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which has become an essential feature in smartphones releasing these days. The device has connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The best part is that the device boots Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box, and this package is backed by a 3000mAh battery. Micromax says that the battery of the Selfie 3 offers 250 hours of standby time and 11 hours of talk time.
