Micromax Canvas Hue 2 goes on sale for Rs 11,736

Micromax is busy strengthening its mid range these days by launching a slew of new smartphones. The latest smartphone to get launched is the Canvas Hue 2 which has quietly gone on sale for Rs 11,736. It will take over from the Micromax Canvas Hue which was launched in the beginning of this year. The smartphone hasn't seen an official launch as of now but is instead available on ebay.in.

Mahesh Telecom, a Mumbai based retailer has further stated that the smartphone has been launched in brick and mortar stores for Rs 12,499. The Canvas Hue 2 has a 5-inch AMOLED display with a viewing angle of 180 degrees. Powering it is a 1.7GHz octa-core processor from MediaTek and it is further joined in by 2GB of RAM for taking care of multitasking. It has aluminium casing and a thickness of just 7mm.

  • MediaTek MT6592 chipset, 1.7 GHz octa-core CPU
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage, expandable with microSD card (up to 32GB)
  • 13-megapixel rear camera, LED flash, Sony sensor
  • 5-megapixel front camera
  • 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual SIM for connectivity
  • 2,000 mAh battery

The smartphone is available in black colour only and can be expected to see an official launch in the next few days.
