Just when we thought that Xiaomi's Mi Max would be the last device to sport a whopping 6-inch display, we have got another one from its Chinese rival, Meizu. In one of its latest moves, Meizu has unveiled the M3 Max smartphone with a 1080p 6-inch IPS display. For now, the device is limited to China and Meizu has not revealed any info regarding its global roll out.

Meizu M3 Max

The Meizu M3 Max is powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clubbed with 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme UI skin on top and has 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, and 5P lens. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens.

Regarding design, the M3 Max comes with metal unibody with mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, which is touted to unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. The device supports 4G LTE with VoLTE and Hybrid dual-SIM connectivity. Backing the M3 Max is a 4100mAh battery with mCharge fast charging, which is claimed by the company to fuel up the device to 45% in just 30 minutes via 12V / 2A (24W) charger.

The Meizu M3 Max is available in Champagne Gold, Silver, Gray, and Rose Gold color options. In China, the device is priced at 1699 yuan (approx. Rs. 16,910). For India market, we expect Meizu to price it lower than the Mi Max, which is currently retailing at Rs. 14,999 for 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant.
