Lumia Denim update for Lumia 525, 535, 620 and Lumia 720 now available in India

Microsoft gave an “early 2015” release date for the Lumia Denim update without being too specific on the time frame. Till now, the only device to actually receive the update was the Nokia Lumia 520. Being one of the most popular devices in the Lumia series in India, it seemed like a nice place to start. Now Microsoft has refreshed their update page which indicates that the update is rolling out to many other devices – the Nokia Lumia 525, the Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM, Nokia Lumia 620 and the Nokia Lumia 720.

One of the biggest changes, which the update will bring to the handsets, is going to be the upgraded Lumia Camera application. The improved camera application allows shooting images at a brisk pace, with minimal shot-to-shot time. However, the higher end devices like the Microsoft Lumia 730, Microsoft Lumia 830, the Nokia Lumia 930 and the Nokia Lumia 1520 currently do not have the Denim update yet, but it is likely to be out soon.

Microsoft had also announced that all the Lumia smartphones which are running Windows Phone 8.1 operating system will receive the Windows 10 update, which is a great thing for customers.
