Loop Mobile today announced the launch of Karaoke messaging service which will allow subscribers to sing a song along with the right music accompaniment and the exact lyrics, listen to their recording and then dedicate it to their loved ones. One has to dial 54999 to activate Karaoke messaging service.
The service comes as an interactive voice response based portal which hosts over 500 tunes of Bollywood music ranging from Retro, to Romantic songs to Ghazals. Beginning with a ‘Call on 54999’, to selecting your favorite song’s music accompaniment, and dedicating the recorded song, the transformation from an ordinary subscriber to a honed singer is a very smooth process.
A rerecording feature is available as well. While charges for recording are Rs. 2/min the song dedication to any local mobile number is free.
Powered by Tanla Solutions, the dedications are simple to send & simpler to retrieve. Since the song dedication reaches the person as a call the surprise quotient is retained. This advanced version avoids the use of a message alert to the receiver; it also is a step beyond sending a message dedication followed by the chosen song.
