These plans may differ in different circles, but difference is marginal.

Vodafone:

For just Rs 72, make all local calls at 30p/min and STD calls at 35p/min. Messaging costs Re 1 for local and additional 500 MB of 2G data free for a week. If you are more into making calls and like to check your mail once in a while and use whatsapp, this is the right plan for you.

Docomo charge just Rs 99 for this plan for a validity of lifetime, it allows the customers to send local SMS at Re 1/ SMS and make all local/STD calls at 1p/sec. With the companies slowly moving towards 1.2p/sec and per minute calling models, this one makes sense in the longer run.

At a cost of Rs 33 for 6 months, subscriber is allowed to send local SMS at 50p/SMS and make all local/national calls at 1p/sec. This pack is named as Teen Pack, and is available in Chennai only for the time being.

Aircel teen pack:

Make all local SMS at just 1p/SMS and make all local/STD calls as per your original plan, valid for a lifetime and costs  Rs 45. Seems a decent buy but the issue might be the limited coverage of Aircel's network in India.

Idea is allowing making all local/STD calls at 1.2p/sec, all local SMS at Re 1 and all national SMS at Rs 1.5/ SMS, valid for 6 months and it is not applicable on these types of plans: Pco, Coinbox and Datacard.
