LG announced the launch of a souped-up version of its flagship V30 smartphone, the LG V30+ in India last week. The V30+ was first unveiled back in August at LG’s IFA 2017 press conference in Berlin. Priced at Rs 44,990, the LG V30+ will available exclusively on Amazon India starting today. The South Korean tech giant is giving away free wireless charger for the first 2,000 customers along with a one-time screen replacement warranty within six months of purchase. Users can also avail No Cost EMIs from various banks including Axis, HDFC, CitiBank with their credit cards.

LG V30+ Features & Specs
The biggest USP of the LG V30+ is its curved OLED Full Vision display which comes with ridiculously slim bezels. The V30 Plus comes with a 6-inch QHD+ display with a 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, and is also HDR10-ready. It even has an always-on second screen on top that gives access to shortcuts and music player.

In terms of specifications, LG V30+ is powered by Qualcomm top of the line Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 2TB via a micro-SD card slot.

The LG V30+ also comes with dual lens module for its rear camera. It features a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 13MP wide angle sensor with a f/1.9 aperture along with LED flash. The former lens packs in support for Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization and Hybrid AutoFocus along with Laser Detection AutoFocus and Phase Detection AutoFocus.

The smartphone also features a Cine Video mode for producing movie quality videos. The mode allows users to capture professional quality videos with the option to choose from a palette of 15 presets such as romantic comedy, summer blockbuster, thriller among others. Up front, a 5MP wide-angle lens with an aperture rate of f/2.2 shoots selfies and helps with video calling.

Additional features of the V30+ include Hi-Fi Quad DAC tuned by Bang & Olufsen, IP 68 Water and Dust resistance and MIL-STD-810G military-grade durability. The phone also packs Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for both front and rear. Other than that, V30+ comes with security features such as fingerprint sensor, facial recognition and voice recognition.

Packing in 3300mAh battery, the V30 Plus supports both fast and wireless charging. Despite most of the new flagships coming with latest Android Oreo out-of-the-box, V30+ runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
