LG Launches GW300 Candybar QWERTY Mobile Phone In India

LG Electronics the leading Mobile Phone maker today announced the LG GW300, an attractive full QWERTY candybar GSM handset based around social networking features for Indian market at Rs.5289.

The LG GW300 is the first BlackBerry-style device sports a 2.4-inch display and made for messaging handset features. The handset comes with a designated Facebook application and e-mail clients providing instant and direct access enabling users to maintain their all important online social statuses in real-time.With a native Facebook app, users should be able to easily update status messages and check on friends.

The LG GW300 contains LiveSquare Application, which allows its users all their favorite contacts to show up on your home screen as avatars, so when a friend sends you a message, their avatar will immediately let you know.

The Handset’s microSD card slot supports cards as large as 4GB in size so users can listen to their own music, and there is also an FM radio, too. Bluetooth functionality will let users connect hands-free handsets, as well. The handset available in electric blue and in vibrant red color.

It works but not fully….u can’t access heavy sites like facebook, orkut, irctc etc.

GPRS does not work at all, after receiving GPRS settings
