LG has launched another high-end smartphone in the V series, named as the V10. The smartphone comes with a second screen on top, and dual front-facing camera, which the company calls ‘Selfie and Groufie.’

The LG V10 comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Quantum display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and the second screen is of 2.1-inch with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM.
It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with LG UX on top. It sports a 16-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, Laser auto focus, OIS 2.0, the manual mode for video for adjusting shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance and focus while recording. There is a 5-megapixel dual front-facing camera, who is capable of capturing wide-angle selfies. It has 64GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

Talking about LG V10’s camera, LG said,“For the wide-angle shot, the V10 employs a sophisticated software algorithm to combine images from the two separate lenses that are just far enough apart to provide two different points of view.” The second screen on the device comes into the action whenever the main display is off, and shows information such as date, time, weather, and much more. Users can also add app shortcuts to the second screen (as shown in the image below), which will help them to launch those apps quicker. Also, the second screen also displays notifications, which helps whenever a user is watching a video, as it does not disturb the main screen at all.
On the rear, the phone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh of removable battery paired with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology that can juice up the device up to 50% in merely 40 minutes. To combat signal problems, the V10 features TruSignal antenna boost technology, which enhances signal strength and in turn decreases call drops and improves data and call coverage. The phone has been crafted in SAE grade 316L stainless steel frame, which makes sure of the durability and can withstand a fall of up to 1.2 meters, which also qualifies the US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and Slim Port.
