As of late, Lenovo has not left any stone unturned to pique the interest of smartphone buyers owing to its latest Lenovo Z5 series. The smartphone that we are talking about here is the most recent Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, a beast of a phone which packs a staggering 12GB of RAM and also runs on the latest Snapdragon 855 flagship SoC, which is the top of the line offering from Qualcomm.
Another noteworthy thing about the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is that according to the company’s claims, this phone has trumped the Apple iPhone XS in Antutu Benchmark, thus establishing its claims on the performance prowess. Apart from this, the phone comes with 512GB of internal storage and features carbon fibre exterior which has been inspired by the exterior of a sports car. Speaking about the specifications of the device, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT features a 6.39-inch display rendering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels on an AMOLED screen of 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen on the phone comes protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Also, under the hood, the phone features the ultra-powered, Snapdragon 855 processor. The phone is going to come in various variants offering 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 512GB of internal storage. On the software front, the phone boots the Android 8.1 Oreo with Lenovo’s ZUI 10 on top.
The smartphone also boasts of impressive camera quality as it gets a Sony IMX519 16MP rear primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and Dual-tone LED flash. The base variant of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage costs 2,698 Yuan (~$400), while the variant with 8GB RAM bears a price tag of 2,998 Yuan ($430). The price of the phone is 3998 Yuan ($580) for the option with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 4398 Yuan ($638) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. The phone is scheduled to go for open sale on January 24, whereas the pre-order of the phone is slated to begin at 10 AM on January 1.
