Lenovo Vibe K5 Note that went on sale on the midnight of August 3 has crossed Rs. 100 crores of revenue since its launch, claimed the company. The revenue was achieved in the first weekend of sale, making it the fastest selling smartphone in the country.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is the successor to K4 Note. It comes in two variants -- 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. It sports a 5.5-inch HD display, an octa-core MediaTek 6755 processor clocked at 1.8 Ghz and 32GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. It supports the ANT VR headset along with TheaterMax technology, for converting games and videos into VR. Lenovo also offers Amkette’s Evo Pad 2 precision controller for TheaterMax gaming with the smartphone. “About 30% of buyers opted for TheaterMax accessories in the inaugural sales,” revealed the company in a press note.
In terms of camera, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note has a 13MP phase detection auto-focus camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, with Lenovo’s own Pure UI on the top. A 3500mAh battery completes the package. Another factor to highlight in Vibe K5 Note is its secure zone option. It allows users to keep two Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, etc. accounts on their device.
The 3GB RAM variant comes for Rs. 11,999 and 4GB RAM edition costs Rs. 13,499. The smartphone is available in platinum silver, champagne gold, and graphite gray color variants.
