China’s premium smartphone manufacturer, LeEco (earlier known as LeTV) has set its foot in the Indian market. The company has launched the Le 1s smartphone. This is surely gonna make the battle of Chinese smartphones much more intense in India. The Le 1S will be up for sale at Rs.10,999, and as we reported earlier, it will be sold exclusively through Flipkart flash sales. The registration for the sale will go live from today.

India is undoubtedly among one of the world’s fastest growing smartphone markets, and manufacturers are not in the mood to leave any stone unturned to take advantage of the growth. The LeEco is certainly going to be a competition to other Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, QiKU, Coolpad, and Meizu.

Here is an insight about what the Le 1s smartphone offers. The device comes with a metal unibody and features a 5.5-inch full HD display. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom EUI on top, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of non-expandable storage. In the imaging department, it sports a 13-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 Type C, and GPS. It also features a fingerprint scanner on the rear.

What’s your take on this latest offerings by LeECO? Would you like to give this new brand (for Indian market) a chance over already established brands such as Xiaomi and OnePlus? Let us know through the comment section below!
