Seems like selfie trend is going to be a never ending fever, no matter if we are a part of that cult or not. Many smartphone manufacturers today are in a league of offering amazing quality front cameras in their mobiles. Also, many are basing their marketing strategy on the word ‘selfie’ so that users can have a clear idea about the main feature of the device. Few months ago, Sony launched the Xperia C3, which featured a 5-megapixel front with flash, especially crafted for selfies. Now, taking the legacy forward, images of the yet unannounced 'Xperia Cosmos’ have surfaced online. As of now, we are assuming it to be a successor to the Xperia C3.
The images of the unannounced device were leaked by the serial leakster @upleaks. Going by the looks, Xperia Cosmos seems to be a mid-range device with LED flash at front.
The specifications of the device are still under veil, but it does appear to be running the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Interestingly, Sony had released the Xperia C3 in specific markets only, where it was certain about device’s success, many of these markets were in Asia. We assume that Xperia Cosmos might also tread the same path as its predecessor.
Sony has not yet revealed any information about the device, or about its launch timeline.
