On Tuesday, Lava launched a new feature phone called the Lava 34 Super Feature Phone in India. The Lava 34 Super has been launched for a price tag of Rs 1,799 in the country. The Lava 34 Super feature phone comes in two colour options -- Black-Red and Sunrise Gold. Additionally, Lava is offering a special one-year replacement guarantee offer and six months replacement offer on accessories to the interested customers. As far as the specs are concerned, the Lava 34 Super comes packed with a 2.4-inch colour display and also includes an alphanumeric gradient keypad right below the display. The keypad as the company says helps users in easy navigation from one app to another. Notably, with the new Lava 34 Super, the company may be looking to take on the likes of JioPhone 2 which was announced last year.

Lava 34 Super: Specifications and Features

The Lava 34 Super includes a box speaker which the company says generates 99.6dB sound and overall offers pretty neat and clearer audio. Interestingly, the Lava 34 Super supports eight different languages -- English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Bengali.

As far as the design is concerned, the Lava 34 Super is extremely sleek and looks good to the eyes, at least from the renders. The Lava 34 Super is backed by a 2500mAh battery and comes with ‘Super Battery Mode’ support. Honestly, a 2500mAh battery on a feature phone seems way too much, but that what Lava is providing. Additionally, Lava promises that the phone offers a talk time of up to 30 hours on a single charge. The Lava 34 Super comes with a 1.3MP primary rear camera. There's no selfie camera on the phone, which again is an expected thing from a feature phone.

Tejinder Singh Lava International Limited Feature Phones head comments on the launch of the phone and says, “The biggest selling proposition of Lava 34 Super is powerful battery and the supreme sound quality. This fully loaded feature phone has many exciting features and is targeted for consumer who are always on the move and need to stay connected customised for Indian users, the phone supports English and all Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Punjabi allowing users to communicate in their most preferred language.”

The Lava 34 Super comes with expandable storage of up to 32GB. Additionally, the Lava 34 Super includes features like 22 languages support, call recording, speed dial, reject by SMS, conference call, among others. The feature phone also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a notification light that blinks to alert on any incoming notifications.
