Karbonn’s latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Aura Note 2, has officially launched today at an affordable price of Rs. 6,490. The handset comes in Black-Champagne and Coffee-Champagne colour variants. The device packs a 2900mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery that claims to offer up to 8 hours of talk time and 182 hours of standby time. Furthermore, the Karbonn Aura Note 2 offers Dual-SIM, 4G, and Bluetooth.
In addition to the aforementioned properties, other connectivities include WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Micro-USB port, GPS, Accelerometer, G-Sensor, Proximity and Light Sensor. The smartphone is also compatible with a VR headset. As for its physical outlook, the Karbonn Aura Note 2 has the dimensions 115 x 78 x 8m and weighs 174 grams.
The smartphone runs on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system and is internally powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor. The handset holds 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 32GB via a microSD card.
One of the most notable features of the Aura Note 2 is that it comes with a pre-installed fashion app called ‘Vistoso’, which lets the users search for an outfit by simply tapping on the picture, with the app’s AI engine automatically recognizing the colour, pattern and print of the outfit to give appropriate results. This app also allows users to cross-check and compare prices across several e-commerce websites to get the best available deal.
When it comes to the camera department, the Karbonn Aura Note 2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto-focus, which lets you lock onto your subject fast. A LED flash is duly included, while a 5-megapixel fixed focus camera sits on the front for selfies and video calling.
