Karbonn A50s launched for Rs 2,790 : India’s cheapest smartphone

Karbonn has pushed the boundaries of the entry level smartphone segment and has launched the country’s cheapest smartphone, the A50s for merely Rs 2,799. It comes with a modest set of specifications but they will still work decently well together to give you an experience that is better than most of the feature phones out there. Here is a list of its specifications:

  • 3.5 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  • 256 MB RAM
  • 512 MB internal storage, expandable by 32GB with a microSD card
  • 2MP rear camera with a flash, VGA front camera
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and A-GPS for connectivity
  • 1,100 mAh battery
  • Black and White colour options

The smartphone’s specifications may not blow your mind but it does not cost a lot either. It is India’s cheapest smartphone on sale out there and will make for a really good replacement for your feature phone or as a first one too.

very nice mobile and better for poor persons like me


No need to fight here for a branded mobile to the Indian parts like MMX CELKON XOLO LAVA MAGICON KARBON etc.. Because the price range will never gate the same spec, so why do any one compare . Pls stop compare that mobile with a 4x price tag like celkon 3000/- to samsung 12000/- Any one here basically known that u cannot get a high end mobile with Rs.3000/- but still some one like students and housewife and other middle class person like me and my family welcomes that mobiles.
