Reliance Jio’s Average Download Speed Crosses 20 Mbps Yet Again

It’s been over two years since Reliance Jio came into existence. Since then, the company has maintained pole position when it comes to Trai’s 4G speed results. For over six months, Trai registered average download speeds of above 15 Mbps and the trend continues. Jio has undercut the rivals by a huge margin. Airtel, which is second on the list during the speed test results of August 2018 registered just 10 Mbps average 4G download speed on its network, which is two times less than that of Reliance Jio. Airtel’s average download speed increased by a mere 0.3 Mbps from 9.7 Mbps to 10 Mbps. On the flip side, Idea maintained a stable position, while Vodafone also saw its average 4G download speed increase by 0.3 Mbps to 6.7 Mbps.
