Reliance Jio has come up with a new cashback offer for JioFi and postpaid subscribers. Under this offer, the telco will be offering Rs 500 cashback for the users who purchase a new JioFi along with a new Jio postpaid SIM card and uses the postpaid SIM card in the JioFi device. That said, if the user does everything right, then Jio will be providing Rs 500 cashback in the form of credit in the customer's postpaid account. With this new offer, Jio claims that users can get the JioFi hotspot device for as low as Rs 500. This offer might be applicable only with the entry-level Rs 999 JioFi hotspot devices and may not be on the Rs 1,999 variant.

As mentioned, a user can avail Rs 500 cashback under the offer, which will be credited to the customer's postpaid account in the form of 'Credit.' Here's how a user will get the cashback. Firstly, the cashback will not be offered in the form of money, instead, it will be offered as 'Credit' to the user's postpaid account. To get the cashback, a customer has to make monthly bills for 12 consecutive cycles to get the credit of Rs 500 into their account.

So the Rs 500 credit will be adjusted against the next postpaid invoices depending on the postpaid plan you're using. At the moment, Jio has only one postpaid plan under its belt of Rs 199, but going forward, the telco might announce new postpaid plans to take on the competition.

This is a decent offer for customers who want to use Jio postpaid service. Firstly, do make a note that the customer has to purchase the JioFi hotspot device at Rs 999 by paying the full amount, then the user has to avail the Jio postpaid connection by paying the required amount while picking up the connection. After 12 months, the cashback will be offered in the form of credit to the customer's postpaid account.
