On July 3, 2024, Reliance Jio hiked the mobile tariffs for customers. It wasn't just the prepaid customers, but also the postpaid customers that saw a hike in the offerings of the telco. Despite the hike, there are still postpaid mobile plans from Jio under Rs 500. Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, has two postpaid plans under Rs 500. They cost Rs 349 and Rs 449. Both have a difference of Rs 100. However, once the final bill comes with 18% GST, the Rs 349 plan will cost Rs 411.82 and the Rs 449 plan will cost Rs 529.82 per month. Let's check out their benefits.

One good thing that Jio did was not remove the unlimited 5G data offer from its base postpaid plans. So all of the postpaid plans of the telco, whether cheap or expensive, are offering customers unlimited 5G.
