Jio throttling me at 1 mbps. I am not blaming, because it’s a preview or test. I am using 4gb per day these days, after jan 1 i will use around 100 mb per day. That means 40 times less. The case is same for everyone. Speed will be increased by around 40 times. That is 40 mbps average.

Jio speed has gone completely down, almost unusable, except for voice calling, probably. Here are the speeds I experience in Kengeri, Bangalore: Band 5 – around 20 Kbps (indoor) Band 3 – around 100 Kbps Band 40 – max. around 1 Mbps, that too rarely. This is certainly not expected. The freeloaders have choked the network. At the least, stop throttling below 4GB limit and provide decent speeds for Lyf handset users. We have paid for your services. Your customer care does not exist, why should I waste more than 20 minutes, just to talk to your representative? I will… Read more »

A major slap in the face for those who bought the outdated and overpriced LYF devices on the promise of unlimited 4G for 90 days. I’m in Mahalakshmi Layout, BengaLuru as well and I’m getting good speeds indoor (5-10Mbps) compared to other operators who barely pass 0.5mbps here.

I was earlier using MTS. Plans became costly and the dongle stopped working too. I had bought a cheap Lyf handset., Flame 2. It’s working fine, surprisingly.. considering Chinese handsets have too many heating issues.. This does not have. I don’t care much about specs. I will use it as a secondary handset 🙂 I have crossed almost 75 days on JPO , and my usage does not go above 2GB per day. So JPO/JWO plan does not affect me much. Good thing is, this has made me know up to what extent I can use internet per day/month maximum.… Read more »

Already moved to airtel data packs. Jio speed is below below 1 Mbps these days and the connection is very unreliable. Also, voice calls still dont work properly.

Even at my small town the speeds have reduced. I personally know few people who were using less than 100MB 2G per month are now using 4GB per day. These people will throw their sim after December 31. Hope the speeds get better from January.

Freeloaders/Freebies lover are like cancer. Once they stick to the network, they won’t leave till its death.
