France-based Verimatrix has announced an expansion of its partnership with Indian mobile network operator Jio Platforms Ltd (Jio). Under this expanded agreement, Jio will use Verimatrix's solutions to enhance security and delivery for its premium video offerings, including its connected TV platform. This move comes as Jio continues to enhance its content protection amid its presence in the Indian B2C market and its content creation and licensing rights to popular international sporting events and other premium content offerings, the official release said.
