A spokesperson from Jio Chat said, “We are excited to launch our services in eight new countries as it will help in boosting our international presence and will also let our customers based in India connect seamlessly with their loved ones abroad.”

The app offers HD quality video, audio conferencing, file sharing, photo/video sharing options, media share, location share, pictures/video share, status share, among others.

Talking about Reliance Jio, it has 2300MHz spectrum across the country and 800MHz or 1800MHz or both in 20 out of total 22 circles in the country. It plans to use this spectrum to provide 4G services using LTE in the near future.
