Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea all don’t offer SMS benefits to their users with low-end prepaid plans. So to port out or use the SMS service for any other thing, the telcos are pushing users to recharge with a certain minimum amount plan that offers SMS benefits so that they can earn more. Today, we will be looking at those starting plans from the telcos which offer SMS benefits. Note that these aren’t the ‘entry level’ plans but the ‘entry-level SMS benefits’ plans. Let’s see what each operator has got in store for the users.




Reliance Jio Entry Level SMS Prepaid Plan

The minimum amount that you will have to spend with Reliance Jio for getting the SMS service from the telco is Rs 129. This plan comes with 2GB of total data for 28 days. It also offers unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS for the same duration. Post consumption of the daily data limit, the internet speed for the users drop to 64 Kbps. There is a subscription offered to the customers for Jio applications which includes JioCinema, JioTV, JioSecurity, JioNews, and JioCloud. This is the ‘unlimited daily data plan’.

But users can also go for a ‘no daily limit’ plan from the telco that will only cost Rs 127 but come for a meagre validity of 15 days, offering 12GB of data. This plan offers 100 SMS/day along with unlimited voice calling and the Jio apps.

For the JioPhone users, the minimum recharge plan that offers SMS benefits is of Rs 75. This plan comes with 0.1GB/data and also offers 200MB bonus data. Its validity is of 28 days, and the plan also offers unlimited voice calling with 50 SMS. Jio apps are included.

Bharti Airtel Entry Level SMS Prepaid Plan

Bharti Airtel offers its entry-level SMS prepaid plan for Rs 129. It comes for 24 days and offers 1GB of daily data to the users. There is unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS included with the plan. Users get free Airtel Thanks benefits, including Airtel Xstream Premium for free.

Vodafone Idea Entry Level SMS Prepaid Plan

The cheapest prepaid plan from Vodafone Idea that offers users SMS benefits also comes for Rs 129. This plan offers users the same benefits as that of Jio, which is 2GB of total data but for 24 days. There are 300 SMS with unlimited voice calling included in the plan. Users don’t get any additional benefits with the plan.
