iPhone 5 Launched in India

India’s largest mobile service provider Bharti airtel, Aircel and  Apple Distributer Redingto today officially launched iPhone 5 in India at prices starting from Rs 45500.




Both the mobile operators offering Factory Un-locked’ iPhone 5 works on GSM / 3G network and have priced the 16GB model at Rs.45500, while the 32GB and 64GB versions which will be available for Rs 52500 and Rs. 59500, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and Apple Distributer Redington also holds special event in Mumbai and some other cities to officially handover the iPhone 5 to its customers who pre-books the device. Redington India also announced today that it will offer iPhone 5 at all leading modern trade stores and retail outlets in India beginning today i.e. Friday, November 2. 

Both Bharti Airtel and Aircel also offering the Nano SIM cards which is currently being used exclusively in the Apple iPhone 5 in all circles in India. Apart from Airtel and Aircel, Vodafone India and MTNL also offering Nano SIM Card as earlier we exclusively shared on TelecomTalk.

The Apple iPhone 5 has a 4-inch Retina display and comes with an 8 Mega Pixel iSight camera with LED flash and a 1.2MP front facing camera and is housed in a sleek aluminium casing body. It is powered by an A6 processor and runs on the latest iOS, the iOS 6.iPhone 5 is the thinnest smartphone in the world, with an all-new 7.6 mm anodized aluminum body that is 18 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than iPhone 4S.

iPhone 5 features dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi support for a wireless experience up to 150 Mbps.
