Intex, the domestic smartphone brand today announced the launch of its first unbreakable smartphone, the Intex Staari 10 with a shatterproof glass on the front. The Staari 10, priced at Rs 5,999 will be exclusively available on Snapdeal. The best part is Intex offering free one-year screen replacement warranty with the Staari 10, so if you manage to break the screen, you can get it replaced for free. The device is also part of Reliance Jio’s instant cashback offer, under which the telco is offering Rs 2,200 worth cashback vouchers of Rs 50 on the first recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299. The cashback vouchers of 44 will be credited to MyJio account, subjected to the user recharging before June 30, 2018.

Coming to the specifications of the newly launched smartphone, it sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, carrying a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The dimensions of the smartphone are 15.0 x 7.44 x 0.90 cm, and it weighs 170grams. Surprisingly, the smartphone also offers a fingerprint scanner placed on the back. Internally, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 SoC and offers 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage.
The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. The smartphone accepts dual SIM cards, and there’s no mentioning on whether it’s a hybrid tray or a triple card slot tray. The Intex Staari 10 offers a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera. Both the cameras have LED flash support.
