Intex launches Cloud Q5, alongside an upgraded variant of Aqua Star II

Intex has unveiled yet another affordable device, named as Cloud Q5, for a price of Rs. 4,490. The new device will be sold exclusively via eBay India. The company also unveiled an upgraded variant for its existing smartphone Aqua Star II, which comes with a spiked up internal storage, RAM, and front camera, for a price of Rs. 7,444.

Intex Cloud Q5The Intex Cloud Q5 comes with dual-SIM connectivity and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA TFT display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash on-board, along with a 2-megapixel front camera. The device has 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity-wise, the device supports 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It is backed by a 1600mAh battery, which is touted by the company to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time.




Intex Star IINow coming on to the Aqua Star II, the major distinguishing factors between the new and the old variant are — the new variant comes with a 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 5-megapixel front camera. Rest all the specifications remain the same as the old variant, which was launched in February this year.
