Intex launches iRist Pro smartwatch in India at Rs. 4999, sold via Flipkart

Intex Technologies is expanding its wearable portfolio, the latest addition is the smartwatch -- the iRist Pro. Sold exclusively via Flipkart, iRist Pro comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 for Indian market.

Carved in an aluminum alloy body with a 2.5D curved glass showing a trans-reflective display of 240x240 resolution, iRist Pro smartwatch promises an enhanced communication and better information sharing, especially of health and fitness. The display of the device is well articulated to get a clear view in sunlight and will give time display even when the display is off.

Intex iRist Pro smartwatch is Bluetooth-enabled and is capable of showing all kinds of notifications from the users’ smartphones, including the call logs, making and receiving of calls, etc. There is an in-built pedometer, which counts the steps walked, distance covered, calorie, etc.

Commenting on the new launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, “The Bluetooth iRist Pro integrates devices to make communication and sharing of information better and provides tools to take care of health and fitness. We are happy to announce the product in partnership with Flipkart at a very appealing price.”

Intex iRist Pro smartwatch comes in black and mustard color variants. The users have the option to change the straps and it comes with a nylon strap free-of-cost.

Storage-wise, Intex iRist Pro smartwatch has a 64MB RAM and 128MB built-in storage. A 400mAh battery charges the device. The company claims that the battery to offer a standby time of up to 150 hours. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and above, in case of Android and iOS 7 and above, in case of Apple OS.
