Intex launches women-centric Aqua Glam smartphone with women safety apps, priced at Rs. 7,690

Intex has unveiled yet another smartphone in the Aqua series of smartphones, named as Aqua Glam. The smartphone is designed keeping women in mind and comes studded with Sarvosky Chrystal stones. The phone has a glass back cover and is available in Pink and Champagne color options.

Intex Aqua GlamThe Intex Aqua Glam features a 4.7-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and has 8GB of internal storage onboard, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. There is an 8-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 1,850 mAh battery. The Intex Aqua Glam comes pre-loaded with variety of apps such as MakeUp app, Sanjeev Kapoor recipes app, Meditation app, HotKnot feature, ASK ME, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, InMobi, Intex service, and Opera Mini. As the device is women-centric, so there is also a safety app onboard, known as Sashakt app that allows user to set up an emergency number, to which the app will send user’s location via text message in case of any mishap. The Intex Aqua Glam has been priced at Rs. 7,690 and is now available all across India.
