Uninor has been recognized as the Most Promising New Operator in the Telecom Operator Award 2010 organized by tele.net,a leading telecom magazine from India.
The selection was based on a survey conducted by the publication with over 160 industry experts and professionals where Uninor emerged as winner by a strong margin.
The recognition comes within months of Uninor’s service launch in 8 telecom circles in India. The company has already made a strong start to its operations, securing an average of 1 million subscribers per month.By the end of February, Uninor had secured over 3.5 million subscribers across its operational regions.
