Since the beginning of its journey in India, the troubled telco Telenor has been offering sabse sasta packs in all it's operational circles. It's worth to mention that the telco has been offering services at it's maximum potential to any consumer in all possible segments and quickly became a most preferred secondary operator in circles it operates.

Telenor

Despite the challenging market scenarios, Telenor still offers very lucrative 4G packs to consumers. I will now discuss in depth of what Telenor 4G has packed in for consumers.

SIM Swap: Customer needs a 4G SIM to enjoy Telenor's 4G services. Like any other SIM swap, one just needs to swap their 2G SIM for a 4G SIM and activation happens asap.

Night Usage Timing:  Well, I can say a perfect definition of night usage timing from a teleco.

Enjoy 0p/20KB which is free night usage between the night time slot available in your circle. Unlike night usage definition from other telecos, these timings were crafted with an intention of consumer usage in mind.

Overview of key benefits along with data across all the circles:

  1. Unlimited Night Internet - (Timing is an asset)
  2. All Local calls @ 1p/sec
  3. 500 Local/STD minutes
  4. All Local/STD calls @ 25p/min
  5. All Local @ 25p/min & STD calls at 30p/min
  6. Talk time in few cases

Speeds:

28688844766_1e4dbfe596_o

I experienced very good/consistent speeds on Telenor all across the places where I'm able to latch on to 4G.

Band Details : AP Circle Specific

Frequency Band : 3 / 1800Mhz Band  - Telenor deployed Lean LTE on this band
Download Bandwidth: 3MHz
Upload Bandwidth: 3MHz
Voice functionality : Voice falls back to 2G from 4G/LTE. FYI: There is no 3G service available.

In what Telenor calls it as the fastest network upgrade, all its BTS which serve 2G now also serve 4G/LTE. So, where ever you have 2G signal of Telenor, you can enjoy LTE as well.

Our Take :

To those users who enjoy Telenor's services, definitely a very much value for money packs especially considering the night usage benefit one can enjoy if you are a night owl. The internet speeds are also consistent and more than the speed itself I can say reliable in a word. Dear readers, are you enjoying Telenor's 4G services? If so do share us your experiences via comments or tweet me @Srikapardhi.

Note: Manual efforts are involved to get the data analytics done. May or may not contain errors. Do check with CC of respective circle before subscribing to any of the plans discussed above.
