Idea Cellular Offers Privileges to its Prepaid and Postpaid Customers Under New Idea Select Scheme

Idea Cellular, India’s third-largest telecom network has come up with a new scheme called as ‘Idea Select’ for both prepaid and postpaid customers offering special privileges for the consumers who enrol themselves under the scheme. The service is available for both prepaid and postpaid users and comes with four plans: Idea Select Titanium, Idea Select Platinum, Idea Select Gold, and Idea Select Silver.

Speaking more about the plans, the Idea Select Titanium is the premium membership of all and offers more benefits, which is followed by Idea Select Platinum, Gold, and Silver. As expected, the Idea Select Silver comes with least advantages of all the four plans.

Nevertheless, there are some catches with this new scheme as well. Every postpaid user of Idea can not be a part of the Idea Select plan as the company has some restrictions. So, for a consumer to be eligible for the Idea Select Titanium plan, he should be the customer of Idea Postpaid for at least six months along with a minimum bill of Rs. 3000 per month and timely bill payments.

The same scenario applies for every Idea Select plan as the least one of all, the Idea Select Silver requires a minimum of Rs. 500 bill for the past six months along with timely bill payments. As said earlier, these plans come with various benefits when compared to traditional Idea Cellular postpaid users.

The consumers under Idea Select membership scheme will get advanced support from the customer care executive and at the customer care centres as well. Also, every Idea Select customer will be given exclusive offers on monthly usage on voice, SMS, and data. There won’t be any security deposits for international roaming and international calling.

The Idea Select users will get exclusive offers, deals, and discounts in the My Idea application, which is available to download for free. The company also partnered with several e-commerce merchants to provide special deals for the Select customers.

Have you enrolled yourself as an Idea Select customer? If yes, let us know your experience with the service and also about the special offers provided by the company.

Idea is the worst network operator probably on earth. When other Telecom operators are giving everything at competent prices, Idea is offering something like peanuts as if it is premium service.

I am using Idea postpaid for 4yrs. Now it seems nonsense to continue with this shi*** As there is far better plans for Airtel like connections (jio the savior). Even its prepaid gives daily 1gb data and unlimited calls for just 347!!!.

One of their average postpaid plan is of 499, wich gives only 3gb data for whole month!!! Plus at bill time you have to pay above 100 as taxes! Total above 600!!

Just think why we stick with this crap!

If you are wise enough get out of this underated connection.

Idea’s prepaid offers are not very different than what Airtel offers. In My Idea app, I can see a special offer of Rs.348 which combines unlimited calling with 1 GB per day for 28 days.

I been to IDEA showroom for MNP – they told me no unlimited plan for IDEA as of now .. so I got airtel prepaid …349 free calling .. + 1 GB data thats what I got….

There is Cap of 1200 minutes in that unlimited calling per week/per month… Not so sure about per month/per week… But definitely Cap is there
