Idea Cellular, India’s third-largest telecom network has come up with a new scheme called as ‘Idea Select’ for both prepaid and postpaid customers offering special privileges for the consumers who enrol themselves under the scheme. The service is available for both prepaid and postpaid users and comes with four plans: Idea Select Titanium, Idea Select Platinum, Idea Select Gold, and Idea Select Silver.

Speaking more about the plans, the Idea Select Titanium is the premium membership of all and offers more benefits, which is followed by Idea Select Platinum, Gold, and Silver. As expected, the Idea Select Silver comes with least advantages of all the four plans.
Nevertheless, there are some catches with this new scheme as well. Every postpaid user of Idea can not be a part of the Idea Select plan as the company has some restrictions. So, for a consumer to be eligible for the Idea Select Titanium plan, he should be the customer of Idea Postpaid for at least six months along with a minimum bill of Rs. 3000 per month and timely bill payments.
The same scenario applies for every Idea Select plan as the least one of all, the Idea Select Silver requires a minimum of Rs. 500 bill for the past six months along with timely bill payments. As said earlier, these plans come with various benefits when compared to traditional Idea Cellular postpaid users.
The consumers under Idea Select membership scheme will get advanced support from the customer care executive and at the customer care centres as well. Also, every Idea Select customer will be given exclusive offers on monthly usage on voice, SMS, and data. There won’t be any security deposits for international roaming and international calling.
